84. Possibility of mergers between AIFs.

(1) Mergers are allowed in one of the forms referred in article 85, of an AIF with one or more such AIFs, as long as these operate in the form of a common fund or an investment company, on the condition that all participants in the merger shall address the same categories of investors, either professional or well informed or retail, in accordance with the provisions of this Chapter.

(2) The provisions of sections 201A to 201ΚΔ of the Company Law regarding mergers shall not apply to the merger of the investment companies that participate in the merger.
